The Baribeau commitment to selling the finest farm equipment actually started many years earlier when Ray Baribeau (Sr.) started a branch office for Hein Implement in Sheldon, WI, about 12 miles south of Ladysmith, selling International Harvester and McCormick Deering equipment. That was in 1928 at the age of only 19. After many years of selling for Hein Implement, Ray and his brother Art started Baribeau Implement Co. in Rice Lake in 1950. Ray and Art continued to sell the International Harvester brand of farm equipment and in 1954 added New Holland brand to the dealership.
